The student protest launched today (30) to protest President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s visit to the University of Kelaniya is already underway and it is reported that a group of around 350 students of the University of Kelaniya are currently encircling the university administration building in protest. Due to this protest, the lane going towards Kandy in front of Kelaniya University on the main Colombo-Kanya road was completely blocked.
