Mr. Ranjith Maddumabandara, General Secretary of Samagi Jana Balavega said that the news published by some newspapers and social media today that 20 members of Samagi Jana Balavega will join the government with him is completely false.
Attending a press conference, he stated that the party is not ready to put more burden on the people by taking ministers and that the party is ready to support the program to recover the country in the parliamentary committee system. Also, the General Secretary said that if anyone is planning to split the party by publishing such false news, it will not happen and said that SJB is not a party that can be split like that.
