The police said that the killing took place last night (11).
A 48-year-old man residing in Matis Lane, Colombo 12 has been murdered.
Information has been revealed that this murder was carried out by a group of people related to ‘Keselwatte Danuka’, an organized crime gang member of Keselwatte police domain.
The reason for this murder is a previous murder that happened on 30.07.2023.
It has been revealed that Kavinda Dilshan, also known as ‘Podi Kavi’, a resident of Colombo 12 area, has been identified as a person who provided intelligence to kill people. It is also said that the murdered person was previously involved in other murders.
The suspects have been identified and they have fled the area further investigations are being conducted by the Keselwatta Police’s Criminal Investigation Division.
