The Police Media Division stated that further investigations have been initiated into the incident.
Police Media Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Nihal Talduwa stated that three people who were injured in the shooting have been admitted to Ragama Hospital.
It is reported that among the injured are a 17-year-old youth, a woman and a man.
