It is said that scattered rain or thundershowers will occur at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and North Central provinces after 01.00 pm.
Some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and North Central Provinces will receive heavy rains of about 100 mm.
In the Western Province, the coastal areas of Galle and Matara districts may also experience some showers during the morning.
Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces may experience foggy conditions in the morning.
The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
