Member of Parliament Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara revealed in the COPE Committee that the players of the Sri Lankan team have suffered injuries as a result of the drugs given by one of the doctors of the cricket team.Sri Lanka Latest News
He made this revelation when the Sri Lanka Cricket Board was called before the Cope Committee.
Speaking further, Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara mentioned that due to the injections given by the doctor, various disorders have appeared in the feet of the players.
Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara revealed that the doctor is not a professional sports doctor.
Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara also mentioned that the doctor nicknamed ‘One Shot’ has been the main cause of long-term illness for the players through giving painkillers.
