The Department of Meteorology has announced that rain or thundershowers may occur in many parts of the island today (31) after 2.00 pm. (Sri Lanka Latest News)
According to the report issued by the department, some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and Uva provinces may experience heavy rains of more than 75 mm.
The announcement also states that there may be rain in the morning in the Eastern Province and Hambantota District.
