Chinese research ship ‘Shi Yan 6’ is scheduled to reach the Colombo port today (25) afternoon to fulfil its supply needs reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The ship which has drawn concerns of India will dock in the Colombo harbour for its supply needs the ministry communiqué states.
According to a statement issued by Minister Ali Babri beginning of the month permission for the ship to enter Colombo port was given at the beginning of November.
