Yesterday (10) investigations were started based on information received from the Fort Police Station.
The police say that the deceased is a man between 35 and 40 years old, with a shaved head and a normal build.
The identity of the deceased has not been confirmed yet.
A maroon-coloured bedclothe was found on the beach, and according to that, the investigating officers suspect that the dead body is that of a monk.
