Because of this, the body of the psychologist was kept in the Colombo police mortuary for 8 days, according to the report.
Thalangama Police say that the person had fled after she was killed while staying at the hotel with a person identified as Simaya, and no important information has been revealed regarding the killer.
The psychiatrist had come to the lodge with a man on the 26th of last month, and on the third afternoon, the woman was found dead in a pool of blood on the bed as she had not been seen.
The police recognized that the psychologist was a person who was engaged in psychological counseling for the police and the armed forces during the war, only from the newspaper reports published with her photos, but no one has come forward to take responsibility for her.
It was revealed in the police investigation that there were people who knew any information about her in areas such as Haputale and Unawatuna, where the woman was said to have stayed, but no information was found so far and the SIM card of the mobile phone she used was also obtained from another person’s identity card.
