Pohottuwa Party has decided not to take any disciplinary action against Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan aka Pillaiyan in connection with the controversial Easter attack and the killing of Lasantha, through the program aired on Channel 4 recently. Sri Lanka Latest News
The morning newspaper asked Pohottu Party General Secretary Mr. Sagara Kariyawasam that the allegations leveled against him are serious, and therefore, whether the party intends to take disciplinary action against Pillaiyan.
Since Mr. Pillayan is not a member of the Pohottu Party, the party has no ability to take any disciplinary action against him, Sagara Kariyawasam, the general secretary of the party, says that even now, Mr. Pillayan has denied the allegations leveled against him.
