The Anamaduwa Police reports that this Majestic elephant got killed by getting tangled in a nearby electricity cable laid for hunting wild animals.
The body of a dead elephant was found near a house in Anamaduwa-Vembuwewa area. The elephant is about 10 feet tall and the elephant also had a pair of tusks of about 03 feet long.
The police claim that they have identified two persons who are said to be involved in the death of the wild elephant and are conducting investigations to arrest them
