According to parliamentary sources, another employee of the Housekeeping Department of the Parliament has been suspended for allegedly sexually harassing some beautiful maids for a long time.Sri Lanka Latest News
A housekeeping assistant in that department was thus suspended by the Parliamentary Secretary General Advocate Mrs. Kushani Rohanadeera.
The General Secretary of the Parliament has taken this step after information was revealed during the investigations that this employee had assisted an officer of that department in sexual harassment.
The Assistant Housekeeper of the Parliamentary Housekeeping Department was earlier suspended in connection with the sexual harassment incident.
A three-member committee headed by three female officers under the direction of the General Secretary of the Parliament is investigating the incident and its report is to be handed over to the General Secretary in a few days.
