The specialty of this is that after 30 years, Samagi Jana Balawega has taken over the power of this Bambarakotuwa Marapana Various Services Cooperative Society, which was a stronghold of their previous parties including the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna for 30 years.
Here, Mr. B.G. Dinapala is the most preferred, and was elected to the post of chairman.
