Police in Hasalaka have arrested a 24-year-old man, who is said to be her boyfriend, who allegedly stabbed a 16-year-old schoolgirl and seriously injured her in front of Moraya Sanghabodhi Vidyalaya this morning (08).
The injured schoolgirl is admitted to Mahiyangana Hospital.
According to the police, that this student got involved with this young suspect through Facebook and has been in a romantic relationship with him for more than a year.
It is said that the police investigations have revealed that the suspect has done this because she severed the relationship with him midway.
