The Ritzbury Relay Carnival 2023, a thrilling three-day event showcasing the athletic talents of Sri Lanka’s youth, reached its conclusion on June 26th at the Sugathadasa Stadium. Jointly organised by the Ministry of Education and the Sri Lanka Schools Athletics Association (SLSAA), the Relay Carnival was solely sponsored by Ritzbury, Sri Lanka’s number one chocolate brand of Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL).

An extraordinary display of skill, determination and sportsmanship was showcased at the Championship with over 4,000 talented athletes from 220 schools across Sri Lanka coming together to compete in various categories.

Maris Stella College, Negombo exhibited their immense talent, earning them the Boys’ overall championship with an astounding 95 points. Trinity College, Kandy secured the second position, with St. Benedict’s College, Colombo secured the third place.

Walala A.Ratnayake Central College clinched the Girls’ overall championship with an impressive tally of 113 points. Lyceum International School secured the second place while, Ambagamuwa Central College secured the third place.
