Former President Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has asked President Ranil Wickramasinghe what he would do about Gnanasara Thero, who insulted Muslims and Hindus, if Natasha Edirisuriya was arrested on charges of insulting Buddhism.
She left the message on her Twitter account.
Also, she emphasized in her tweet that it is not too late to enforce the law against the people who destroyed Dr. Safi’s life by making false accusations.
