To avoid the government’s weaknesses and inefficiencies, the current government has frequently been involved in a conspiracy to destroy the country’s main opposition, the Samagi Jana Balawega, and now, through the media, there is a false rumour that the Samagi Jana Balawega is preparing to join the current government. According to the opposition leader, it is spreading.
The opposition leader went on to say that, while the current political system lacks the privileges that the people demanded during the struggle, some parties in the current government have ignored these demands and engaged in a conspiracy to bribe opposition ministers.
As a result, the opposition leader, Mr. Sajith Premadasa, stated that Samagi Jana Balawega or Samagi Jana Sanandhan will not join forces with parties that engage in bribery and rogue politics, which the people have rejected.
Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the opposition leader, stated this in a special statement in response to news that the MPs of Samagi Jana Balavega would join the government, which had spread through various media.
As a result, the opposition leader emphasised that government power is obtained through a mandate decided by the people, that there is no preparation to collaborate with the garbage heaps, and that the only answer for the country at this time is a united people’s force.
As a result, the opposition leader emphasised that no member of Samagi Jana Balavega will join the government and that no such discussions have occurred within or outside the party.
