The French ambassador pays a visit to Sajith’s office to meet with him!

A special meeting between the new French ambassador to Sri Lanka Mr. Jean-François Pactet and the opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa took place (03) at the office of the opposition leader in Colombo.

The French-Sri Lankan diplomatic relations were discussed in this meeting and the opposition leader also requested the support of the French government for the development of Sri Lanka.

Arjuna Ranatunga, Chairman of the NSC, stated that he will not respond to any letters and will continue to perform his duties in his position.

The government must uphold the constitution and democracy, says the Catholic Bishops’ Conference.
