It is reported that the former mayor of Colombo Mrs. Rosy Senanayake held a demonstration at the Colombo mayor’s official residence yesterday (29) in the background of the end of the term of office of the local government bodies and their powers have been transferred to the commissioners.

This was revealed in a press conference held yesterday.
