A protest was held in front of the National Election Commission (NEC) today calling for the Local Government Polls to be held.
A large crowd was seen chanting and holding placards with slogans demanding elections be held as announced.
The road leading to the National Election Commission was temporarily closed due to the protest, while Police personnel were deployed to ensure security for the Election Commission.
