The Easter case will be heard beginning 28th!

The three-judge bench of the Colombo High Court ordered that the hearing of the case filed by the Attorney General against 25 defendants, including Naufar Maulvi, on charges of conspiracy and aiding and abetting the Easter Sunday terror attack, will begin on February 28.

This case was called today (01) before the three-judge bench of the Colombo High Court consisting of Mr. Damith Thotawatta, Mr. Amal Ranaraja and Mr. Navaratne Marasinghe.

The bench decided that the trial will be commencing on February 28.

The bench also informed the defense lawyers to get the necessary documents for the trial from the Attorney General.

The Attorney General has filed this case against 25 defendants, including Naufar Mawlavi, Sajeed Maulvi, Mohammad Milhan, Sadiq Abdullah, Adam Lebbe, Alias Gaufar Mama, Mohammad Sanasdeen, and Mohammad Rizwan, under 23,270 charges of conspiracy and aiding and abetting the Easter Sunday terror attack.
