It is reported that the wife and son of the slain Member of Parliament Mr. Amarakirthi Athukorala have participated in the ruling party’s group meeting held today.
It is said that the members of parliament in Pohottuwa have taken steps to give the money collected for Mr. Amarakirthi to his wife.
After the President gave the money to the former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa presented the money to the Athukorala family.
