The captain of the Sri Lanka cricket team, Dasun Shanaka and the coach, Mr. Chris Silverwood, have been called to the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute this afternoon to give a statement about the incident involving Dhanushka Gunathilaka.
It is reported that Dasun Shanaka has been questioned at length regarding the alleged misbehavior of the players during the Australian tour.
It is said that they have been questioned about the issues that have arisen especially regarding Dasun Shanaka, Vanidu Hasaranga and Bhanuka Rajapaksa.
Unofficial sources state that during these interrogations, Dasun Shanaka has stated that he does not know anything about this.
However, the unofficial sources have stated that the behavior of the players had no effect on the winning or losing of the matches.
But so far, nothing has been revealed regarding the statements made by Mr. Silverwood.
