In a decisive meeting held today, the SJB seat organizers unanimously nominated Mr. Sajith Premadasa as the prime ministerial candidate for the Samagi Jana Sandhanaya in the upcoming general election. They have also committed to launching the election campaign under his leadership.
Additionally, the organizers agreed to completely distance themselves from Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe. Mr. Sajith Premadasa confirmed these developments during a press conference later in the day.
