The Election Commission has announced its readiness to conduct the general election at any time.
Election Commissioner General Saman Sri Ratnayake indicated that the estimated cost for the general election is approximately 11 billion rupees.
Additionally, the Commission stated that the list of registered voters compiled for the presidential election will also be utilized for the general election.
