Uncertainty Plagues Pohottuwa Members: Confusion Over Future Plans and Decisions | Sri Lanka Latest News”

It is reported that most of the MPs in Pohottuwa are hesitant these days, unable to decide what decision to take regarding the upcoming presidential election.Sri Lanka Latest News

This situation has arisen because President Ranil Wickremesinghe has not yet made a direct statement regarding whether he will stand for the presidential election or not.

At the meeting held last Sunday in Gampaha, Mr. Prasanna Ranatunga passed a resolution that Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe should run for the presidential election, but there too, the president slipped without giving a proper answer.

However, it has been seen that there has been some discussion among the MPs in Pohottuwa regarding whether the president will run for the presidential election with an elephant, a swan or some other common symbol.

Accordingly, after the announcement of the presidential election, it is reported that the majority of MPs in Pohottuwa have decided to express their opinion on the decision taken by the president.
