Presidents’ Disqualification Bill Passed in Parliament with Overwhelming Majority

The second reading debate on the Presidents’ Disqualification Bill was held in Parliament today (10), Sri Lanka Latest News reports.

A total of 151 members voted in favor of the Bill, with only 1 member voting against it.

Following the vote, Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne announced in Parliament that the Presidents’ Disqualification Bill had been passed with a majority of 150 votes.
