President Ranil Wickramasinghe announced that the Sri Lanka-Thailand Free Trade Agreement would be signed on February 3rd

President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that the Sri Lanka-Thailand Free Trade Agreement will be signed on February 3rd. The President also said that efforts should be made to increase exports and increase foreign exchange with a competitive market. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

President Ranil Wickramasinghe invited all the political party leaders representing the Parliament to join a discussion with its Managing Director on how to implement the agreement with the International Monetary Fund and said that if there are any alternative proposals to build the country, all the political parties are requested to submit them immediately.

The President pointed out that if Sri Lanka withdraws from the IMF agreement, the country’s economy cannot be trusted again and said that everyone should lead the country to victory with a common agreement.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe said this while addressing the International Customs Day celebrations held today (26) at the Colombo Customs Headquarters.
