Opposition leader Sajith visits Welikada late at night to see Ananda and Dhammika, remanded for threatening Utilities Commission member Mohan Samaranayake! They represented 220 lakh poor people! Threat video attached! VIDEO

Opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa visited the Welikada prison this afternoon to inquire about the condition of the Secretary of the Electricity Users Association Sanjeeva Dhammika and the convener of the Samagi United Trade Union Alliance Mr. Ananda Palita.

The leader of the opposition said there that the two bravely stood up for lakhs of electricity consumers in this country and will take all legal measures for their fair rights.

He also said that they did not stand for the president and the prime minister but for the common people of this country.
