Naseem Shah to Play First ODI Against Sri Lanka Despite Shooting Incident

The first match of the ODI series between the visiting Sri Lankan team and the Pakistani team will take place today (11). Sri Lanka Latest News

The game, scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi, is set to begin at 3 p.m. Sri Lankan time.

Out of the last five ODIs contested between the two nations, Pakistan has secured three victories, while Sri Lanka has won one match.

The ongoing ODI series consists of three matches.

Meanwhile, a gunshot was reportedly fired at the residence of Pakistani cricketer Naseem Shah. According to foreign media reports, the incident occurred during the early hours of yesterday (10), when unidentified individuals shot at the gate of his house before fleeing the scene.

Security forces in Pakistan have initiated an investigation into the shooting. No injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.

Despite the attack, fast bowler Naseem Shah has stated that he will participate in today’s ODI match against Sri Lanka (11).
