Central Bank Governor Dr.  Nandalal Weerasinghe says that steps will be taken to disclose to the country the information about the businessmen who do not bring the dollars earned through exports to Sri Lanka and convert them into rupees along with the income they have earned.

The Governor of the Central Bank has said that this work will start within the next two weeks.

The Governor of the Central Bank had said this while participating in a meeting of exporters held yesterday.

According to the regulations of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, exporters must bring the dollar income earned to the country within 180 days and convert the money into rupees.

The Governor of the Central Bank has said here that out of the top hundred exporters in Sri Lanka, only 27 exporters are working according to the above regulations.
