The ‘Chalo Sansad’ mobilisation intensified in central Delhi as more than 1,000 students moved from the Central Secretariat Metro area, while nearly 500 protesters advanced from the Rail Bhawan side towards the Parliament zone.
The coordinated movement comes amid heightened security, extensive barricading and restrictions imposed ahead of the youth-led march over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination and repeated examination failures.
Thousands of supporters have gathered in the national capital despite the police denying permission for the march, raising concerns over a possible confrontation near the heavily secured Parliament complex.
The protesters are demanding accountability in the education system and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Organisers have repeatedly urged participants to remain peaceful and non-violent.
