Concerned about what is going on here
Indian foreign minister Dr S Jayasankar says that India is concerned about what is going on here.
He mentioned these sentiments while addressing the all party conference summoned by them to discuss matters relating to Sri Lnka.
He also noted India never facilitated the former President’s Maldives and Singapore trips. and further noted a situation like Sri Lanka’s is not possible in India. Sri Lanka is India’s closest neighbour and India is more concerned about the effects of Sri Lankan problems on them.
Dr. Jayashankar stated that India has helped Sri Lanka more than it has helped any other country by exporting food, medicine, and other necessities. He cautioned that many try to draw a parallel with some unrelated facts and panic people in India.
