Wurth Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, the iconic brand in the vehicle after-market space, will be the platinum and title sponsor of Sri Lanka’s ultimate drag racing event, “The Wurth Drag Wars”, which will be held on Sunday, 16th November 2025, at the Katukurunda racing circuit starting at 8 am. The much-looked-forward-to event in the racing calendar of Sri Lanka, the Wurth Drag Wars, is organized by Ashan Silva, national racing champion of Sri Lanka, and the organizing committee of the Colombo Racing Club.
Racing enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting to witness the ultimate drag racing competition in Sri Lanka. With high-capacity supercars and super bikes competing to be the fastest in Sri Lanka, the event has generated a wide interest and an enthusiastic spectator base amongst the racing fans. A fun-filled day awaits those who make their way across to Katukurunda with racing-related games, interviews with top racing drivers on racing and the automotive industry, gifts to be won by engaging with event social media, opportunities to make memories with friends and family in a photo booth, etc.
