Visa, the global leader in digital payments, recently treated designated cardholders of Visa Infinite, its recently launched proposition for affluent consumers, to an exclusive, curated experience aboard the prestigious Viceroy Train. Visa Infinite cardholders rode the luxury train from Colombo to Bentota and upon reaching Club Villa Bentota, they were invited to view an unforgettable dance performance dipping into our nation’s history and be immersed in a unique mixology session, stemming from the use of arrack. This was followed by a cultural exploration lunch and an entertaining puppetry show.

Commenting on the experience, Avanthi Colombage, Country Manager, Sri Lanka and Maldives, Visa, said that Visa recognizes that affluent consumers desire more than a card – and look for access to unique, exclusive and bespoke experiences that are not readily accessible. With ‘The Viceroy Train Experience’, Visa delivered an unforgettable experience to  Visa Infinite cardholders – a train journey laced with our nation’s unique history and partaking of slices of life of Southern Sri Lanka. The team crafted an iconic experience, ensuring that the extraordinary day of indulgence and entertainment remained with customers as a vivid memory, to be long cherished.
