Union Assurance, Sri Lanka’s premier Life Insurer, successfully hosted its prestigious National Business Launch event at Monarch Imperial, attended by the senior management and over 500 members of its agency force. Held under the inspiring theme “Rise to Brilliance”, the event aimed to recognise and reward the outstanding achievements of the Company’s top-performing advisers.
As part of the Company’s commitment to celebrating excellence, the National Business Launch event featured a grand awards ceremony where the Moratuwa Region was awarded ‘Best Region–Large Category’ while the Homagama Region claimed the title of ‘Best Region–Medium Category’ and the Malsiripura Region became the ‘Best Region–Small Category’ for the year, marking an outstanding achievement in these regions. Among the night’s top winners, Chedeesha Dias from the Homagama Region emerged as the ‘National Winner’, marking a remarkable milestone in the Company’s journey of excellence.
Another key highlight of the evening was the Union Assurance Premier Club Rewards Giveaway for the fourth quarter of 2024. The Union Assurance Premier Club, a leading recognition platform in the Life Insurance industry, rewards top achievers with exclusive lifestyle perks. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Chanaka Appuhamy was honoured as the ‘Union Assurance Premier Champion’ for 2024, taking home a luxury vehicle along with other prestigious rewards. Moreover, Chanaka Appuhamy, Amila Silva, Kaneshamoorthy Vijitharan, Upul Priyantha, Rasathurai Sathooshan, Francis Kasthularaj and Amila Harshana were recognised as Platinum winners, raising the bar for excellence in the Life Insurance sector. Province 01 was awarded the coveted Union Assurance Premier Club shield for excellence in performance.
