Two air tickets per month to be won by ComBank Digital users till April 2025

Users of ComBank Digital, the most widely used digital banking channel in Sri Lanka, can now win air tickets to Thailand by transacting on the platform, under an exciting promotion that runs till April 2025.

Two air tickets are to be presented by Commercial Bank of Ceylon each month to one customer selected at a draw from users who performed six or more transactions on ComBank Digital in that month. To be eligible for this draw, the transactions must comprise of three utility bill payments and three fund transfers. The promotion is conducted in collaboration with LankaPay.

“ComBank Digital already processes an average of more than 5 million transactions per month, but has the capacity for more,” Commercial Bank’s Assistant General Manager – Digital Banking Mr Pradeep Banduwansa said. “Increased usage helps us enhance our digital services, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible banking experience, as they transition from traditional banking to digital banking, making their financial management easier and more convenient.”

The ComBank Digital ‘Transact & Win’ promotion’s December winner was Ms Malsha Dilmi, who has already received her tickets to Thailand.

Driven by Commercial Bank’s ‘Digital by Default’ business model, ComBank Digital has more than 1.5 million registered users and processes transactions totaling more than Rs 400 billion in value per month.  The most widely used digital channel that serves retail, SME and corporate clients, ComBank Digital is offered via a responsive web application and three native mobile applications (iOS, Android and Huawei). It encompasses functionalities ranging from banking needs, wealth investment, payments and lifestyle, with access across all devices such as desktop PCs, laptop computers, tabs and smartphones.

New customers can register for ComBank Digital without incurring the first-year annual fee or joining fee, allowing them to experience unparalleled convenience. A wide range of new features, benefits, and exciting offers for customers can be expected in the near future, the Bank said.

Commercial Bank customers enjoy the convenience of self-registration for ComBank Digital, gaining instant access to a banking platform that is secured with industry-level security standards to provide a convenient, swift, and safe digital 24×7 365-day banking experience in their preferred language, wherever they are in the world. ComBank Digital is also the first in Sri Lanka to offer loyalty points for digital banking transactions. Encompassing all new registrants as well as existing users of ComBank Digital, the Max Rewards enables users to accumulate points that can be redeemed for purchases or other benefits.
