Spreading the Spirit of Ramadan with a Blessed Iftar Gathering

SLT-MOBITEL Brings Joy and Support to Students Affected by Cyclone Ditwah

Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, SLT-MOBITEL organized a special Iftar celebration at Al-Misbahiyyah Arabic College in Gampola.

The initiative aimed to share the spirit of Ramadan with the school community while extending support to students affected by the recent Cyclone Ditwah, which caused significant disruption to the Arabic College and its students.

The event was graced by Ash-Sheikh Hisham Mufti, Principal of Al-Misbahiyyah Arabic College, members of the school committee, and approximately 60 students. Representatives from SLT-MOBITEL, including the Regional Manager, Eng. M.A.M. Ziyam and the team from the Gampola office, along with staff from the SLT Head Office, also participated in the celebration

As part of the initiative, SLT-MOBITEL donated essential school supplies to support the students and assist the school community in continuing their educational activities. The Iftar gathering provided a meaningful opportunity for fellowship and reflection during the holy month of Ramadan, reaffirming SLT-MOBITEL’s dedication to supporting communities in times of need and promoting social harmony.

SLT-MOBITEL conveys its heartfelt greetings in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, wishing everyone peace, happiness, and prosperity.
