Mr Sajeewa Pushpitha, Regional Portfolio Manager at Sri Lanka’s second largest life insurance company Softlogic Life, has been awarded the prestigious title of ‘Insurance Agent of the Year’ at the 8th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards. After being nominated among the top 5 finalists in the esteemed category for three consecutive years, Mr. Pushpitha overcame strong challenges from a star studded field of agents across Asia, all hailing from Multi-National Companies and his exceptional dedication and performance earned him the ultimate recognition in the highly competitive insurance sphere in Asia, making him the winner from the only local Company amongst the finalists which was an immensely proud moment for Softlogic Life and for Sri Lanka.
Held at the Park Royal Collection Marina Bay in Singapore on the 26th of July 2023, the Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisors Awards stands as the region’s most esteemed platforms which recognizes the best in financial advisory through an independently-audited judging process. Jointly organized by Asia Insurance Review, Asia Advisors Network and LIMRA, this year’s competition resulted in 77 finalists from 14 markets and 38 different companies across Asia.
Mr. Pushpitha’s achievement at the 8th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards is a testament to his unwavering commitment to deliver exceptional service to his clients, along with a fiery determination to reach the highest standards of professionalism. With over 19 years of experience in the industry, he stands out as the only Sri Lankan nominated for the “Insurance Agent of the Year” category and the only finalist in the history of the award to have obtained the TOT (Top of The Table) MDRT qualification for six consecutive years.
