SLT-MOBITEL Powers Sumathi Awards 2023 as the Official Telecommunications Partner

SLT-MOBITEL has come forward to power one of Sri Lanka’s most awaited corporate events, Sumathi  Awards 2023 as the Official Telecommunications Partner. The gala event garners a vast audience annually, recognizing wide range of talents in the local tele industry.

The exchange of the official partnership took place at a media briefing held recently between Thilanga Sumathipala, Founder of Sumathi Awards and Charaka Perera, General Manager, Marketing at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd. This year’s event is scheduled to take place on the 9th of February 2023 at Water’s Edge, Battaramulla.

The Sumathi Awards is a prestigious award ceremony recognised nationally for bestowing awards to distinguished individuals and groups involved in Sri Lanka’s television industry. The event takes place each year and is organised by the Sumathi Group of Companies, Sri Lanka.

As a local brand that is committed to uplifting local talents and the art industry, SLT-MOBITEL continues to partner with such national-level events to nurture local talents whilst facilitating the proliferation of art and popular culture in the nation.
