PFEC Global, a leading study abroad consultant based in Australia, successfully concluded the inaugural World Study Fair in Sri Lanka on a high note as it presented hundreds of Sri Lankan students the chance to take the first steps in realizing their study abroad dreams.

Held at the Hilton Hotel, Colombo, the event brought together top-ranked universities and institutions from Australia, the UK, and Canada, offering students and their parents a direct gateway to exploring global education dreams.

With more than 100 leading institutions represented, visitors engaged in one-on-one discussions with international university delegates, gaining clarity on academic pathways, eligibility, scholarships, and post-study career prospects. Students were able to benefit from on-the-spot profile assessments, received guidance on securing scholarships or fee waivers, and even walked away with instant offer letters – a first step toward securing their study abroad ambitions. Attendees also enjoyed exclusive perks such as zero application fees, discounted airfares, and extra baggage allowances – making the transition to overseas education both accessible and affordable.

Commenting on the success of the event, Md Shaidul Islam, Chief Executive Officer of PFEC Global, stated, “The response from Sri Lankan students and parents has been phenomenal. We are proud to have connected so many aspiring scholars directly with world-class institutions. This is just the beginning – we’re committed to opening more doors for Sri Lankan talent to thrive on the global stage.

Navdeep Kaur, Head of PFEC Global Sri Lanka, added, “Seeing students leave with instant offers and new-found clarity about their futures was incredibly rewarding. Our goal is to simplify and empower the study abroad journey, and this event proved just how impactful direct engagement with university representatives can be.”

Since 2006, PFEC Global has been at the forefront of guiding students toward their international education and migration goals. Headquartered in Melbourne, the company operates 11 offices across Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and India, partnering with over 550 leading institutions worldwide. With more than 22,000 success stories to date, PFEC Global continues to be a trusted name for students seeking seamless, end-to-end support for studying abroad.
