People’s Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Toyota Lanka (Private) Limited (TLPL), the sole authorized distributor for Toyota and Hino vehicles, to introduce a comprehensive financing scheme. This strategic partnership aims to make ownership of new Toyota and Hino vehicles.
The MOU was officially signed at a ceremony held in Toyota Lanka Head Office, Wattala attended by senior management from both organizations. Representing Peoples Leasing & Finance PLC were Mr. Sanjeewa Bandaranayake – Chief Executive Officer /General Manager, and Mr. Udesh Gunawardena – Chief Operating Officer, while Toyota Lanka (Pvt) Ltd was represented by Mr. Manohara Athukorala – Chief Executive Officer /General Manager & Mr. Mathisha Samaranayake – Chief Operating Officer.
The scheme offers a robust package of financial benefits and value-added services, designed to provide maximum flexibility and convenience, like Fixed or floating interest rates based on their preference, extended lease period to suit customer’s cash flow with a special insurance package from People’s Insurance (PIL). Customer can access an island-wide branch network for convenient transactions. Furthermore, customers can pay all the rental payments through People’s Bank CDMA machines under this scheme.
