People’s Bank’s ‘People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai 2024’ draw to select the monthly winners of Rs. 250,000 for August, September, and October took place at the People’s Bank, Overseas Customer Services premises at Colombo 10 recently.
In addition , the weekly winners for the period from August 05 to November 17, 2024, were also drawn at the event and will be gifted Rs. 100,000 each.
Shameela Loku Kaluge – Deputy General Manager (Treasury, Investment Banking and Financial Institutions), T.G.S.P Kumarasiri – Deputy General Manager (Banking Support Services), Aruni Liyanagunawardana – Deputy General Manager (OCS), Shantha Gangabadage – Assistant General Manager (Audit), Buddika Ranathungage – Assistant General Manager (OCS), Thilini Perera – Senior Manager (OCS) and Sriyani Napagoda – Senior Tax Officer, Department of Revenue (Western Province) participated in the event.
People’s Bank launched ‘Vaasi Kotiyai 2024’ Draw to encourage and appreciate Sri Lankan migrant workers who work tirelessly to strengthen the country’s economy and build a better life for themselves and their families.
People’s Bank’s awards Rs.2,000,000 to the year’s Grand Prize Winner of People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai 2024 while the Monthly Winners will get Rs.250,000 and the Weekly Winners take home Rs.100,000. Workers’ remittances received to People’s Bank through People’s Web Remit, People’s Instant Remit, Telexes, Swift, Western Union, Ria or similar anywhere payout products from 2024.01.01 to 2024.12.31 are eligible for the Draw.
