People’s Bank Officers’ Association conducts ‘Abhinandana Pranama 2024’ to celebrate educational achievements of members’ children

People’s Bank Officers’ Association recently conducted its ‘Abhinandana Pranama 2024’ academic excellence award ceremony for the 22nd time at the Cosmic by Citrus of Lotus Tower, Colombo 10 recently. The event focused on recognizing the outstanding educational achievements of members’ children and was held under the patronage of People’s Bank Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakse and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka.

During the glittering ceremony, awards and certificates were awarded to a large number of children who had demonstrated excellence by achieving outstanding results at Grade 5, G.C.E (O/L) and G.C.E (A/L) examinations. Additionally, the ‘Abhiman Gaurawa Sewa Upahara’ program which paid tribute to retired senior members and the Annual General Meeting of the People’s Bank Officers’ Association was also held during the event.

People’s Bank Officers’ Association President Nalin Perera – Assistant General Manager (Retail Banking), Secretary Chaminda Ihalakorala – Assistant General Manager (SME Development & Micro Finance) and officials, together with current and retired members of the association as well as a large number of children participated in the event.
