March 2024, Colombo Sri Lanka: NCINGA and Google organised an insightful session for C-suites of large Sri Lankan enterprises to discuss the benefits of using Google Cloud to run their core SAP infrastructure. The event, held at the Courtyard by Marriott on March 6, 2024, was attended by C-suite executives from Sri Lankan organisations spanning many industries as well as regional representatives from Google. Discussions at the event focused on how organisations can achieve higher ROI with speed, scale and agility while leveraging new age artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

Google Cloud is a key technology partner of NCINGA, as its implementation in solutions can contribute to increased efficiency and business flexibility when responding to market changes, reduce costs, and function as a dependable foundation for SAP innovation. The event featured three presentations by Google Cloud representatives and a generative AI use case presented by NCINGA. Srimurugan Veluswamy, Interim APAC Lead, SAP on GCP at Google, elaborated on the need for infrastructure modernisation to achieve ROI goals; Rishi Sharma, Head of Technology, SAP on Google Cloud SAARC, discussed the use of the Google SAP Cortex framework for more dynamic business insights; and Vishwas Srigowtham, Territory Manager, Google Cloud, explored the use of generative AI as a platform to elevate modern businesses. NCINGA client Lion Breweries PLC presented the success story of migrating their SAP infrastructure to Google Cloud and its many enterprise benefits during an interactive session.

Srimurugan Veluswamy stated: “NCINGA is a valuable SAP on GCP partner for us in Sri Lanka, with a great understanding of Google Cloud’s products and solutions, an extremely empathetic approach to solving clients’ problems, and most importantly, credibility in the market. At GCP, we look forward to delighting more customers in Sri Lanka this year and beyond, together with NCINGA. I’m pleased that we got an opportunity to interact with top IT and business leaders in the country and share details on Google Cloud’s capabilities.”

Isuru Ponnamperuma, VP Cloud Practice at NCINGA, said: “NCINGA’s affiliation with cloud technologies extends over a decade, which helps clients experience world class cloud solutions and services. In the past few years, we have provided cloud services across geographies, including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, ASEAN and the Middle East. We’ve built, fixed and transformed cloud infrastructure. The complimentary solutions and services around network, cyber security, application modernisation and integration make NCINGA a one-stop shop when it comes to embarking on a cloud journey for any organisation.”

NCINGA architects its technology suite with present and future business considerations at its core, giving organisations greater flexibility to innovate as market conditions evolve.
