LANKATILES recently celebrated the opening of its 59th showroom in Sri Lanka and its second showroom in the Northern Peninsula, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued journey of bringing refined design and premium surfaces closer to communities across the island.

Located at No. 498, KKS Road, Vannar Pannai, Jaffna, the new showroom stands as a sophisticated destination where homeowners, architects and designers can explore Lanka Tiles’ extensive portfolio of world-class wall and floor tile collections.

The showroom is operated by franchise owner Mr. K. Paheerathan and the opening ceremony was graced by the chief guest, Engineer N.Suthakaran (Deputy Chief Secretary – Engineering Northern Province) and the Managing Director of LANKATILES, Mr. Priyantha Talwatte, together with partners and members of the local community.

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Talwatte stated that,

“The opening of our 59th showroom and second location in Jaffna represents our continued commitment to making premium tile solutions accessible to customers across Sri Lanka. Jaffna’s cultural heritage, architectural beauty and warm hospitality make it an inspiring place for design and we are proud to contribute to the evolution of living spaces in this remarkable region.”

Speaking at the opening, Mr. Paheerathan, said, “Jaffna is a place with a rich cultural identity and a strong sense of community. We are proud to bring the LANKATILES experience to this region, offering customers access to premium designs and high-quality products that can transform their homes into modern, elegant living spaces while reflecting the character of the region.”

Jaffna, a region celebrated for its rich cultural heritage and striking natural beauty, has long been a source of inspiration. The historic Jaffna Fort, with its coral stone walls and distinctive textures, stands as a testament to the unique architectural character of the peninsula. The tranquil turquoise waters that surround the region lend Jaffna a serene elegance that is both timeless and unmistakably its own.

Equally symbolic of the region is the traditional Yaal; the ancient harp after which Jaffna derives its name. Its graceful form and melodic resonance echo the rhythm of the northern seas, perfectly harmonising with the gentle movement of the surrounding waves.

Inspired by these elements, Lanka Tiles continues its mission to create surfaces that elevate living spaces with sophistication and character. With the opening of this showroom, Lanka Tiles further strengthens its commitment to making premium designs accessible across Sri Lanka, supporting homeowners and developers in shaping living spaces that reflect both modern sophistication and enduring cultural roots.
