First Capital Holdings PLC, a subsidiary of JXG (Janashakthi Group) and a pioneering full-service investment institution, is proud to announce the First Capital Mid-Year Outlook Investor Forum 2025, a virtual event designed to provide investors and stakeholders with an in-depth analysis of Sri Lanka’s economic and investment prospects for the remainder of the year.

Scheduled for 17 July 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the forum will explore critical themes including the macroeconomic landscape, fixed income markets, and stock market trends. This year, for the first time, the event will be delivered in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, reinforcing First Capital’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility across diverse investor groups.

The forum will feature First Capital Research’s carefully crafted outlook on key indicators such as interest rates, the All-Share Price Index (ASPI), and exchange rates — insights that have historically guided investors toward well-informed decisions. This presentation will be delivered by Ranjan Ranatunga, Assistant Vice President – Research at First Capital Holdings PLC.

An expert panel discussion will bring valuable perspectives from across industries, featuring Christopher Joshua, Executive Vice Chairman of Access Engineering; Moiz Rehmanjee, Group CFO of Hemas Holdings PLC; Kushan De Silva, Director and CEO of Advantis Bunkering; and Dimantha Mathew, Chief Research and Strategy Officer at First Capital Holdings PLC. The session will be moderated by Akna Tennekoon, Senior Analyst – Research at First Capital. Together, they will share on-the-ground views from the consumer, construction, and logistics sectors, helping investors better understand sector-specific dynamics within the broader market context.

The forum will be streamed live via Zoom, Facebook Live, and YouTube to ensure wide participation. Interested parties are encouraged to register early to secure their virtual seat.
