In a heartwarming and inspiring celebration of womanhood, Asia Asset Finance PLC marked International Women’s Day 2026 with a grand community event held on 6th March 2026. The event brought together a remarkable gathering of influential women, community leaders, and elderly mothers from across Colombo in a moving tribute to the resilience, wisdom, and compassion of women in Sri Lankan society.

The picturesque setting came alive with warmth and celebration as distinguished female leaders and professionals joined hands with elderly residents from Lankadara Elders Home and St. Martins Elders Home, creating a beautiful intergenerational moment of appreciation and respect. The program was filled with meaningful interactions, fellowship, and acts of gratitude, reminding everyone present of their true value for the commitments and sacrifices they have made.

Speaking at the event, Head of Sustainability & CSR of Asia Asset Finance PLC, Ms. Yuveni Diaz, emphasized the company’s vision of empowering communities through meaningful action.

“At Asia Asset Finance, sustainability is not just a concept — it is a responsibility we carry with heart.  On this Women’s Day, we celebrate not only the achievements of women but also their incredible strength, patience, and unconditional love that shapes our society every single day.”

The event reflected Asia Asset Finance’s strong corporate philosophy of combining financial excellence with social responsibility. As one of Sri Lanka’s most respected finance companies, Asia Asset Finance PLC is the only Sri Lankan subsidiary of the global financial giant Muthoot Finance, carries a Fitch A+ credit rating, and proudly serves the nation through a rapidly expanding network of over 100 branches islandwide, backed by a legacy of more than 55 years of trusted financial service.

As the sun set smiles shared between generations of women served as a powerful reminder of the event’s message: when women are supported, communities flourish and the nation grows stronger.
