ComBank offers special rates & discounts for Anagi customers in celebration of Women’s Day

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has invited its ‘Anagi’ customers to celebrate International Women’s Day this year with a reduced rate on loans and leasing facilities and discounts of up to 50% on Anagi credit and debit card purchases throughout March.

Anagi accountholders who apply for home loans, personal loans, or leasing facilities in March will enjoy an exclusive 1% interest rate reduction from the current interest rates applicable for these facilities, the Bank said. Additionally, the Bank will also slash all documentation charges for this customer segment by 50% during this period.

Furthermore, the Bank has partnered with more than 70 retail brands island-wide to offer discounts that will be available on specific days or periods throughout March to Anagi customers.

These Women’s Day discounts can be claimed across 22 clothing and accessories partners offering discounts of up to 30% on Anagi credit and debit cards, 10 jewellers offering discounts of up to 50% on both cards, six healthcare providers offering 25% on Anagi credit cards and 20% on Anagi debit cards, 10 lifestyle brands offering discounts of up to 50% on both cards, 13 online shopping sites offering discounts of up to 30% on both cards, three restaurants offering discounts of up to 15% on both cards, a bookstore offering discounts of up to 10% on both cards, a watch boutique offering discounts of up to 20% on both cards, and five supermarket chains offering discounts of up to 25% on Anagi credit cards and 10% on Anagi debit cards.

These offers can be enjoyed both by existing and new Anagi customers throughout March, the Bank said.

Commercial Bank launched the ‘Anagi Women’s Banking’ portfolio in early 2022 as part of its expanding efforts to support women. The portfolio comprises of the ‘Anagi Women’s Savings Account’ and the ‘Anagi Business Loan for Women Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (WSME)’ and the Bank has pledged to introduce many more new products and services in the future. The Bank offers a free Debit Card to every customer that applies for a new credit card and agrees to open a new Anagi Savings Account.

The Anagi Business Loan for Women Small and Medium Entrepreneurs provides female entrepreneurs with loans for working capital or investment purposes. Available exclusively for female business owners and businesses with female business partners or directors, this scheme enables applicants to receive loans from Rs 2 million to Rs 250 million at competitive interest rates and with flexible grace periods.
